"Roaming Market Environmental Inspection and Security Care and Protection Week" publicity activity

In response to the 112th Amendment to the Crime Victims Rights Protection Act, with the aim of enhancing public understanding of the rights and protection of crime victims, raising awareness of protection organizations, and encouraging support for the welfare and protection services for crime victims, the Taiwan Chiayi Branch of the Association for Victims Support (referred to as "Chiayi AVS") and the Chiayi Branch of the Taiwan After-Care Association. jointly organized the " Market and Walking tofitness " event at the Chiayi District Prosecutor's Office Square. To expand the visibility of the market, various agencies including the Chiayi District Court, the Administrative Enforcement Agency, Chiayi Detention Center, and Chiayi Prison were invited to set up booths for advocacy, thereby strengthening connections between network units and attracting more participants.

During the event, Head Prosecutor Wen-Ji Hsieh from the Chiayi District Prosecutor's Office conducted an anti-corruption and quiz activity to engage with the public and promote clean and fair election culture. Following this, Mr. Wen-Tsung Lin, Chairman of Chiayi Avs, delivered a speech in which he emphasized the importance of the work in protecting crime victims and mentioned that the Walking tofitness would take place around the Chiayi District Prosecutor's Office and the district court, with a route covering Linsen East Road, Xinsheng Road, and Yuanfu Street. This route symbolizes emerging from the woods, caring for the well-being of crime victims, and living a fulfilled and blessed life.

Next, Chairman Jun-Sun Huang of Chiayi Branch of the Taiwan After-Care Association delivered a speech in which he expressed that the joint event aimed to prioritize the well-being of crime victims on behalf of probationers, promoting harmony and prosperity through the activity.

The event featured various activities such as lucky draws and quizzes, and the response from the public was enthusiastic, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere. The highlight of the event was the Walking tofitness, which started from the first-floor plaza of the District Prosecutor's Office, encompassing a route around the office and the court. Through participating in this walk, individuals were encouraged to engage in physical activity to strengthen their resilience. Participants received stamp coupons that could be exchanged for promotional items during the walk. Additionally, people could obtain raffle tickets for shopping at the market. The event brought together members of the public, crime victims, and ex-offenders, all leaving the venue with a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment.
