To implement the clean and transparent development of the green energy industry, the Chiayi District Prosecutors Office (CDPO) hosted the "First Half of 2026 Joint Green Energy Enterprise Visit and Exchange" on June 18. Led personally by Head Prosecutor Chen Ding-wen, a delegation comprising representatives from law enforcement, investigative, anti-corruption, and industry sectors—including the Southern Regional Investigation Office of the Agency Against Corruption (AAC), the Chiayi County Station of the Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau (MJIB), the Chiayi County Police Bureau, the Chiayi County Government's Department of Government Ethics and Department of Economic Development, and the Chiayi District Office of Taiwan Power Company—conducted on-site visits to the "Xiangyang Booster Station Project Site" and the "Yuheng Asia UAV AI Innovation District (AI Innovation Center) Ground-Mounted Solar Project Site." Through this cross-agency and corporate on-site exchange, the CDPO demonstrated its concrete determination to safeguard green energy development, promote local transformation, and serve as a steadfast backer for legitimate manufacturers.

During the visit, Xiangyang Energy Co. showcased its concrete achievements in "aquavoltaics" (fishery-solar symbiosis). The site has already achieved a massive power-generation capacity and is undergoing continuous expansion. At its core is a greenhouse aquaculture system situated beneath the solar panels, which uses smart technology to monitor water quality and temperature to produce toxin-free, high-quality white shrimp. Furthermore, the site has specifically optimized its grid architecture to stabilize power output. The overall structure possesses exceptional disaster-resistance capabilities, having rapidly resumed power generation following a severe typhoon, thereby demonstrating strong operational and maintenance resilience.

Yuheng Energy Co. established solar photovoltaic facilities at the AI Innovation Center, spanning three distinct areas: the automobile parking lot, the motorcycle parking lot, and the drone monitoring station. These facilities have been completed successively and have entered the power-generation phase. The project site utilizes waterproof mounting systems, which not only generate electricity but also provide shade and rain protection, enhancing convenience for park employees. Crucially, the company adhered to a strict policy of "no tree relocation, no tree logging" throughout construction, taking concrete action to ensure the sustainable preservation of the park's natural ecosystem.

In response to potential local protests or illicit pressure from external forces that green energy companies might face during construction, the CDPO explicitly emphasized that it has established the "Liaison Platform for Combating Crimes Obstructing the Green Energy Industry." The office will demonstrate proactive judicial resolve to resolutely protect manufacturers from extortion, coercion, or harassment under false pretenses, serving as the strongest shield for legitimate businesses. The CDPO will continue to join forces with relevant agencies to actively maintain a green energy investment environment characterized by "mutual benefit, cooperation, openness, and transparency." It will tolerate no criminal acts that disrupt or delay construction timelines, working collectively to safeguard national energy transition and foster local symbiosis and mutual prosperity.
