- This case was notified to the Shuishang Precinct Chiayi County Police Department on February 27,2025. However, after an examination by a prosecutor and a forensic pathologist, because the cause of the death could not be determined from an outside perspective, an autopsy was scheduled for this morning(March 5), in order to find out the exact cause of the death.
- Regarding the questions raised by the parents of the baby, the description of the nanny and the emergency treatment process, Taiwan Chiayi District Prosecutors Office has instructed the Judicial Police to actively collect relevant evidence and will rely on the results of autopsy to determine the exact cause of death in this case. If there is any human negligence or criminal liability involved, Taiwan Chiayi District Prosecutors Office will do its utmost to investigate.
