The defendant was a civil servant in a township office in Chiayi County. In December 2023 and January 2024, he used the excuse that the victim, a green energy manufacturer, had illegally prepared land and laid foundation piles before obtaining an agricultural operation permit. , requiring manufacturers to pay bribes and unfair benefits from subcontracting in order to avoid administrative sanctions for the disputed projects. After interrogating the defendant Zeng ○○ and relevant witnesses late at night, Prosecutor Jiang admitted that the defendant Zeng ○○ was involved in the corruption offenses.
